Frequency 2.0 is out! You can download it here!

What is Frequency?frequency icon

Frequency is a desktop weblog client. If you have a weblog you manage with Blogger, Radio, Movable Type, or other Blogger API or metaWeblog API system, you can use Frequency to add new posts instead of logging into the web site every time.

Once you save your user information and password with Frequency, you'll never have to enter them again, so making updates to your weblog is simple and quick.

Version 2.0 adds native support for multiple weblogs and built-in FTP file transfers!

From the manual: I started getting into weblogging a couple of years ago. I enjoy writing, and I enjoy working with the web, plus it's a great way to keep in touch with people. While I really enjoyed blogging, I found most of the web-based editing systems cumbersome. I find that most of my weblog entries tend to be either very short pieces, in which case it's annoying to have to log into the web interface to type just a few words, or rather lengthy pieces, in which case a browser makes a less than ideal editing environment. I wrote Frequency to overcome both problems. For quick, short posts, I can just launch Frequency, type what I want, and hit the "Post" button. Quick and easy. For longer posts, I have the advantage of writing in a desktop application rather than a text area on a web page. Frequency also provides style buttons and makes it very easy to link to other pages. HTML previewing is provided as well.
