Have you ever felt like an afterthought? 🐑👑 In 1 Samuel 16, Samuel comes to anoint the next king. Jesse parades his impressive sons, but God says no. Jesse says his youngest, David, is out with the sheep. David wasn't even invited. But Samuel stops the ceremony and says: "We will not sit down until he comes." God bypasses central casting to anoint the overlooked. God is stubbornly interested in the person nobody thought to include. You aren't an afterthought.
