Complete power expressing itself as complete descent. 🧎‍♂️ Today is Maundy Thursday. John 13 tells us Jesus knew exactly who he was and how much authority he had—and then he picked up a towel. He didn't wash feet despite his power but because of it. Every empire uses power to elevate itself. Jesus uses it to kneel. Peter couldn't handle a Lord on the floor, but unregulated grace gets its hands dirty. Love isn't a feeling; it's a posture.
