The winter is past. 🌸 Today’s reading is from the Song of Solomon. It's unambiguously romantic, describing a lover leaping over mountains to say, "the winter is past, the rain is over and gone." After 40 days of Lent, the darkness of Holy Week, and journeys across flooded rivers, the lectionary hands us a love poem about spring. Easter is the arrival of spring. It's God calling you by name out of hiding and saying: it's time. Come away.
