What feels like a tomb might be a rescue vehicle. 🐋 In Jonah 2, the prophet is swallowed by a fish. He calls it "Sheol" (the grave). He thinks he's dying. But the fish barfs him onto the beach. It was God's wildly unconventional rescue vehicle. Jesus claims this as the metaphor for his resurrection. Jonah didn't know he was being rescued. The disciples didn't know the tomb was a rescue vehicle for humanity. Deliverance often begins in the pitch black.
