Daily Devotional for Apr 18, 2026

Let's talk about death, tears, and parties. 🍽️ Isaiah 25 describes a feast for all people where God will "swallow up death forever." This week we saw death swallow everything in its path. Now God turns it around. Death gets consumed by grace. And who is invited? Jesus tells us in Luke 14: the poor, the crippled, the lame, and the blind. The VIPs of the Empire are not the VIPs of the Kingdom. Death gets swallowed. The tears get dried. There is a seat for you.
