Daily Devotional for May 7, 2026

Let's talk about sailing into the storm. ⛵ Today the lectionary gives us two ships and two storms. In Gen 6, Noah gets blueprints from God to build an ark. In Acts 27, Paul is a prisoner who warns the Roman empire of a storm, but they sail anyway. The Kingdom doesn't offer a detour around the danger; it gives you what you need for when the water rises. Whether you have the blueprints or just a promise, following God means sailing into the storm. Don't fear it today.
