Daily Devotional for May 14, 2026

Let's talk about staring at the sky. ☁️ Today is Ascension Day. In Acts 1, Jesus leaves, and the disciples just stand there looking at the clouds. Which is completely human! But the angels ask: what are you looking at? The work isn't up there. God isn't going to do this for you anymore; God is going to do it through you. As Ephesians 1 says, the power that raised Christ is now available to us. The sky is empty. The field is full. Look around you today.
