Daily Devotional for May 21, 2026

Let's talk about the fire going everywhere. 🏔️ In Exodus 19, God descends on Sinai, but the people are told: stay back. Put a fence around it. The empire loves a centralized power structure where the masses stay behind a barricade. But in Acts 2, the fire doesn't land on a mountain or a temple. It splits into individual flames and rests on ordinary people in an ordinary room. The empire centralizes the fire. The Kingdom democratizes it. Let it rest on you today.
