Daily Devotional for May 22, 2026

Let's talk about closing the distance. 🌩️ In Exodus 19, the mountain is terrifying. The people beg Moses to go up for them out of fear. But in Romans 8, Paul says we received a spirit of adoption. He gives us the word "Abba"—a child's word for dad. The people at Sinai begged not to hear God's voice. The people of Pentecost say "Abba." That's the distance the whole Bible has been closing. The Kingdom looks you in the eye and says: you are a child of the house. Step closer.
