Let's talk about the wildness of God. 🦁 In Job 38, God points to the lion, raven, and wild ox. None are useful to the empire. The empire wants a domesticated world where everything is optimized for human use. But God made them wild on purpose. God doesn't just tolerate the wildness; God tends it. In 1 Cor 12, Paul says declaring "Jesus is Lord" requires the Spirit. In the 1st century, that was an act of treason. The Kingdom is wild. Don't let the empire domesticate you today.
