Let's talk about a different kind of silent treatment. 🦅 In Job 40, after the whirlwind, Job says: "I lay my hand on my mouth." This isn't defeat. He isn't silenced by shame; he's silenced by wonder. His arguments just ran out of road. In John 14, Jesus says the Holy Spirit will teach you. The Advocate doesn't wait for you to figure it out. The Spirit arrives straight into the silence. A hand over the mouth is the beginning of a different kind of listening.
