Let's talk about the empire's shortcuts. 🛑 In Gen 16, Abram & Sarai get anxious and try to force God's promise using Hagar. The empire treats vulnerable people as infrastructure, but you can't build the Kingdom with the empire's tools. God goes to the wilderness to find Hagar, and she becomes the first person to name God: "The God who sees." In 2 Cor 6, Paul warns against partnering with the empire's ways. God doesn't need you to manipulate the timeline today.
