Let's talk about checking all the boxes and missing the point. 📋 In Jeremiah 25, the prophet admits that after 23 years of preaching, the people preferred "the work of their hands"—systems and idols they could easily control. The empire loves religion as long as it asks for compliance instead of transformation. In Galatians 5, Paul is furious that the church is trying to add a checklist to grace, looking for a transaction rather than transformation. The empire wants a religion that is easy to measure and weaponize to decide who is in and who is out. But the Kingdom of God destroys the checklist, demanding something harder and simpler at the same time: "the only thing that counts is faith working through love." Stop checking boxes and start working through love today. ❤️✨
