Let's talk about the smallest possible act of Kingdom work. 💧 This week has been heavy—we've watched truth-tellers get thrown into cisterns and seen empires sell comfortable lies. But today, the lectionary gives us a jarring contrast. In Romans 6, Paul reminds us that the empire operates on wages, extracting everything and paying in death. But then he introduces a total economic disruption: the free, incongruous gift of grace. What does that gift look like on the ground? In Matthew 10, Jesus tells us it’s as simple as giving a cup of cold water to someone who is thirsty. The empire wants you to believe you need power, platform, and resources before you can do anything that matters. But the Kingdom shows us that grace can fit in a single cup. You don't need a massive platform to offer a small disruption to a world obsessed with keeping score. Do one small thing for someone who needs it today. ✨
