2026-07-07: Let's talk about breaking the wrong yoke. ⛓️ Yesterday, Jeremiah wore a wooden yoke to symbolize the empire's weight. Today, in Jeremiah 28, a false prophet named Hananiah snaps it in half, promising the crowd that Babylon will fall within two years. It's a massive crowd-pleaser—toxic positivity disguised as prophetic faith. But God sends Jeremiah back with a chilling message: Hananiah broke wooden bars only to forge iron bars in their place. False hope doesn't weaken the empire's grip; it strengthens it. In Romans 3, Paul reminds us to "let God be true though every person a liar." The empire is full of false prophets performing liberation without delivering it. You cannot lie your way to liberation. ✨
