2026-07-13: Let's talk about what we do with other people's bodies. 👤 In Micah 1, God comes down to flatten the "high places" of power. Why? Because the powerful were exploiting the vulnerable. The empire has always exploited bodies, taking what it wants and calling it the natural order. In 1 Thessalonians 4, Paul gives the church a radical, counter-imperial alternative. Often weaponized by purity culture, Paul's message is actually a profound claim about human dignity. He urges the church to treat bodies with holiness and honor, ensuring "that no one wrong or exploit a brother or sister." The empire says bodies are commodities to be consumed. The Kingdom says every body is made in the image of God. ✨
