2026-07-15: Let's talk about being trained to be blind. 🙈 In Proverbs 11, we see the Kingdom's economy of generosity contrasting with the empire's zero-sum game of hoarding. To justify that hoarding, the empire trains you to look at poverty and not see it. In Matthew 13, Jesus explains why he speaks in parables. It isn't to hide the truth—the empire has already done the hiding! The empire trains us to look at exploitation and not perceive it. Jesus uses parables because stories can slip through the empire's defenses. He's finding a delivery system to get past the blindness the empire installed. Keep your eyes open today. ✨
