2026-08-02: Let's talk about wrestling, lunch, and interruptions. 🍞 In both Genesis 32 and Matthew 14, we see figures seeking to be alone. Jacob is terrified to face Esau, so he isolates himself. Jesus is grieving the execution of John the Baptist, withdrawing to a deserted place to mourn. But the crowds follow him. He doesn't get his solitude. ✨
