2026-08-08: Let's talk about history repeating itself. 🔄 This week we watched Jacob and Esau do the hard work of making peace and putting the past to rest. But in Genesis 37, we turn the page and watch the exact same generational sickness spin up all over again. In Matthew 16, the religious elite demand a flashy "sign from heaven" to prove Jesus's authority. But Jesus refuses to play the empire's game; he gives them the sign of Jonah and quietly walks away. History repeats itself when we refuse to name and break our inherited patterns.
