2026-08-09: Let's talk about throwing down and lifting up. 🌊 In Genesis 37, the toxic cycle in Jacob's family hits a breaking point. Joseph's brothers are so threatened by his status that they strip him, throw him into a pit, and sit down to eat lunch while he cries out. In Matthew 14, Peter steps out onto the stormy water, gets terrified by the wind, and begins to sink. When he cries out, Jesus immediately reaches out his hand and catches him. The empire preserves its power by throwing the brother down and profiting. The Kingdom reveals its power by reaching into the chaos and lifting the sinking brother up.
