2026-09-16: Let's talk about what happens when the hero leaves. 🧥 In 2 Kings 2, Elisha asks for a double portion of Elijah's spirit—not out of greed, but asking to be his true heir. When Elijah is taken up, Elisha picks up the fallen mantle and parts the Jordan River. 🌪️ In Mark 11, Jesus tells his disciples that they, too, have the faith to move mountains. The Empire hoards power at the top, but the Kingdom freely passes the mantle to the community. However, Jesus adds a catch: Kingdom power must always be tethered to forgiveness. We can't use mountain-moving power for vengeance. Don't wait for a hero today. Just pick up the mantle. 🌱
