2026-09-18: Let's talk about two very different lions. 🦁 In Nahum 2, Nineveh is compared to a lion that tears its prey apart to feed its own den. The Empire views authority as an apex predator, consuming the weak. But scripture gives us another lion. In Revelation, John looks for the Lion of Judah, but sees a slaughtered Lamb. 🐑 One lion destroys; one lion restores. In 2 Corinthians 13, Paul asks the church, "Do you not realize that Jesus Christ is in you?" Because if the Kingdom's lion is in you, it changes how you use your power. ✊ Paul declares his authority is strictly for building up, not tearing down. When you are given influence, what kind of lion do you want to be? 🌱
