Daily Devotional for Oct 8, 2026

2026-10-08: Let’s talk about promises we can’t keep. 🤝 In Exodus 24, Israel confidently promises to obey every word of the covenant—just a few chapters before they melt down their jewelry to make a golden calf. 🐄 In 1 Peter 5, the elders are told to lead with humility, which is just being honest about our inability to keep our promises perfectly. 🤞 What promise to God are you afraid you can't keep? Make it anyway, make it humbly, and let grace do the holding. 🌱
