2026-10-11: Let's talk about anxiety in 24-karat gold. 🪙 In Exodus 32, the people are terrified of the silence on the mountain, so they melt down their jewelry to build a god they can control. Anxiety makes idols. 🐄 In Philippians 4, Paul writes from a Roman prison but doesn't tell the church to build a coping mechanism. Instead, he invites them to trade their worry for the peace of God. 🕊️ What are you building because the waiting is too hard? Stop pouring your gold into the fire, and remember the Lord is near. 🌱
