2026-10-18: Let's talk about whose face is on your money. 🪙In Matthew 22, the Herodians try to trap Jesus with a tax question, but Jesus points out that Caesar's image is only on the metal. Since Genesis 1, God's image has been stamped on us. Caesar can have the coin; he doesn't get you. 👤 In 1 Thessalonians 1, Paul praises a church that turned away from dead idols to imitate the living God—finding joy under pressure, which is something the Empire cannot mint. ✨ And in Exodus 33, after the worst week of Israel's life, God promises that the divine presence will go with them anyway. ⛺Whose image are you carrying? Who are you imitating? Give Caesar his piece of metal, and give God yourself. 🌱#UCC #Matthew22 #1Thessalonians1 #Exodus33 #PostcardsFromTheKingdom
